DSO EntityDSO Entity welcomes ACER’s initiative to review the existing Grid Connection Network Codes
On 24 November 2022, DSO Entity replied to ACER's consultation on amending the existing Network Codes on the Requirements for Generators (RfG) and Demand Connection (DC), reiterating a number of its proposals to improve and harmonise EU rules.
Aligned with EU objectives and the development of new technologies, enhancing electrification is a priority for achieving the EU’s climate and energy goals. DSOs will need to accommodate enormous numbers of new technologies that will in future be connected directly to DSO's grids. Common EU rules therefore need to focus on enabling the deployment of renewable sources, storage, electric vehicles, and finally active energy customers.
