On 13 February, DSO Entity was pleased to share its observations on the Electricity Market Design Consultation.
The reply of DSO Entity provides inputs and recommendations on distributed flexibility, grid infrastructure investments, submetering and energy sharing.
Key aspects for DSOs are highlighted, notably the importance of the Network Code on Demand Response for topics closely related to flexibility and the need for sufficient infrastructure investments in light of the close connection between deploying renewable energy sources and empowering consumers and the expansion, renewal and smartening of the distribution grids.
