DSO Entity will organise, in the next months, two webinars dedicated to the our Grid Connection Paper published last November. Our report highlighted the vital role of DSOs in achieving EU's net zero targets and presented some proactive initiatives set up nationally by DSOs to ensure the implementation of the new requirements set in the Fit for 55 Package.
As identified in the Grid Action Plan, the lack of available grid capacity constitutes a challenge at distribution level in Europe with several Member States facing grid congestion issues.
DSO Entity's first webinar will focus on this grid capacity challenge and share some best practices already implemented by DSOs in some Member States providing potential solutions on how to overcome it.
