Who we are
Legally mandated by the European
Union in the Clean Energy Package
(CEP) to help drive Europe’s energy transition, DSO Entity was formally established in June 2021.
We provide expertise on electricity distribution grids, which are the final, low-voltage part of the electricity grid, distributing electricity to homes, industry, and other end-users.
Following the formal integration of gas/H2 DSOs in June 2026, we are developing an integrated governance framework and approach covering their grids and technologies, in support of this new dimension of our mandate.
