DSO Entity, ENTSO-E, T&D Europe and Europacable will host a jont public webinar on the skilled workforce gap. As identified by Point 13 of the EU Grid Action Plan, the shortage threatens to slow down the delivery of critical infrastructure across Europe. Specialised roles like cable jointers, HVDC designers, and substation installers remain scarce, driving delays and quality concerns. Aligning with the EU’s Union of Skills initiative, the sector must treat workforce development as a strategic priority, with coordinated action on training, qualification, and long-term labour planning.
